Cork is the perfect family destination in the West of Ireland with a range of indoor and outdoor family activities throughout the county including Fota Wildlife Park and a range of amazing coastal towns on the Wild Atlantic Way. Fitzgerald Park, just minutes away from Cork city centre is situated on the picturesque bank of the River Lee and spans approximately eighteen acres with swings and slides, manicured gardens and the Cork Public Museum located at its centre.
The city also plays host to some popular festivals which draw crowds from all over Ireland and further afield each year. These include Live at the Marquee which takes place in the summertime and the Cork Jazz Festival which takes place in November.
