Cathedral Quarter

Harland and Wolff

Founded in 1861 and famous for innovation, clever design and imagination, Belfast’s Harland and Wolff shipyard is very much still in operation. Home to where the Titanic was build, its two impressive buttercup yellow twin cranes still stand upright guarding the city.

Queen’s University

Queen’s University Belfast opened its doors in 1849; it is the city’s top university with beautiful style and setting. Take a walk around the impressive gardens with its tall trees and admire the building’s wonderful architecture.

Belfast Zoo

Situated on a 55-acre hill site with phenomenal panoramic views over Belfast Lough, Belfast Zoological Gardens opened its doors in 1934. One of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most popular attraction, Belfast Zoo is home to more than 1,000 animals. A fantastic day out to explore and discover over 150 species.

Stormont Parliament Buildings

Home to the Northern Ireland Assembly, Stormont Parliament Buildings is an impressive structure with beautiful surroundings that dates back to 1921. Walk around the majestic gardens and take a peek at the Stormont estate where important debates unfold.
