ICC Cricket World Cup
The Oval is an international cricket ground with a capacity of 24,500 seats.
The ICC Cricket World Cup takes place every four years, challenging 10 teams against each other. For the fifth time in history, England and Wales will host the tournament with 10 games being played in London.
To open the tournament, South Africa will face England at the Oval on Thursday 30th May and Bangladesh will face South Africa on Sunday 2nd June 2019!
Last year Australia won the cup for the fifth time at the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This time the final will happen at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on Sunday 14th July. Good luck to all the teams!

Directions by train
You can walk from the hotel to Willesden Green station or Kilburn station in 10 minutes.
You can also take the bus to get to the tube station:
- Lines 260 / 266 / 460 to get to Willesden Green station (6 minutes).
- Lines 16 / 32 / 186 / 316 / 332 to get to Kilburn station (4 minutes).
- The Jubilee line is towards Stratford and takes about 22 minutes to get to London Bridge station.
- Then the Northern line is towards Morden and takes about 7 minutes to get to the Oval station.
