Convention Centre Dublin

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) is a world-class conference venue located in the Dublin docklands, in the heart of the capital. The CCD opened in September 2010 and has hosted a range of events from small meetings to large conferences with over 5,000 delegates. RDS Dublin

Bord Gais Energy Theatre

Bord Gais Energy Theatre opened in March 2010 and is Dublin’s largest theatre with a capacity of 2,111. The venue is located in Grand Canal Square, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. The theatre hosts a variety of theatrical productions from around the world including musicals, concerts, comedy, ballets and opera. Some of the most famous shows that have taken to the stage include Swan Lake, Mary Poppins, Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King and Wicked.

Dublin enjoys a busy calendar of arts and music festivals each year with the main music events taking place during the summer months. In February, the city hosts the Dublin International Film Festival which showcases the best in Irish and international films as well as hosting a range of workshops and guest speakers.

Longitude is a 3 day music festival which takes place every July in Marlay Park, a 300 acre suburban public park located in Rathfarnham approximately 9 kilometres from Dublin city centre. Forbidden Fruit is a 3 day music event which takes place on the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Royal Hospital Kilmainham just 15 minutes from Dublin city centre.
