Airport Parking Frequently Asked Questions

We offer 1,500 secure car parking spaces for those wishing to leave their car with us. All our guests can also avail of our complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle transfer to and from Dublin Airport Zone 16 daily. Please see below the frequently asked questions by our customers to find out more details.

Manage your booking

Park and Fly customers should log in using “Manage my Booking“. You will require your invoice number and email address in order to access your booking. For cancellations within 24 hours please send an email to carparking.dublinairport@claytonhotels.com.

Park Stay and Fly customers should send an email to carparking.dublinairport@claytonhotels.com.

Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival.                                                                                                         Cancellations within 24 hours before your pre-booked arrival time will incur a cancellation fee of 15 Euro (or total car parking fee if the amount is less than 15 Euro).

Park and Fly customers should log in using “Manage my Booking” link on Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport website. Bookings can be amended up to 6 hours from their booked arrival time. You will require your invoice number and email address in order to access your pre-booking. Park Stay and Fly customers should send an e-mail to carparking.dublinairport@claytonhotels.com at least 24 hours before their arrival time. Should you decide to extend your on-line booking this will be treated as a new booking. The prices charged for the new booking will be based on spaces and products available at that point in time and may not include the same prices as offered when the initial booking was made.

Arrival at the car park

Please bring the following with you to in order to ensure your online booking is recognised:

  • Take the same car whose licence plate details you provided when making the booking
  • Confirmation email if booked through an agent.

Drive to Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. Stop at the entry barrier. The system will read your vehicle licence plate and once it matches the licence plate details provided in your online booking the barrier will automatically rise. In the event that the barrier does not rise please take a ticket and visit reception.

*If booked through an agent, please follow the instructions in your confirmation email.*

On Entry: If our License Plate Recognition cameras do not pick up your car registration, simply just press the button on the barriers to take a ticket and gain entry. Drive into the car park and follow signs to the underground or surface car park.

On Exit: Although your licence plate may not have been recognised at the entry, it may still be recognised at the exit. However, if the License Plate Recognition cameras do not let you out automatically, please visit reception with your confirmation and we will validate your ticket for you to exit.

Please Note: Due to the GDPR regulations, we are no longer authorised to use Credit/Debit Cards as a method of identification for pre-bookings. Please DO NOT enter your card into the barrier or this will run the risk of being double charged.

Your pre-booking may still be charged to your card account. Queries in relation to your payment can be made in writing to: Car Park Manager, Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport, N32 Junction, Stochole Lane, Swords, Co. Dublin or via email to ppope@claytonhotels.com with the following detail enclosed:

  • Arrival date & time
  • Departure date & time
  • Fee charged
  • Car registration number used to make the booking
  • Daytime telephone number

Online parking reservations

On completion of the booking process you will:

  • Receive your booking confirmation notice while you are still online
  • Receive an email confirmation at the email address you provided when making the online booking
  • These confirmations set out the details of your booking.

Please repeat the process from the beginning and ensure that you have followed the procedures set out. The system will prompt you in the case of some errors. The system will advise if pre-booked parking is available on your selected dates.

In the payment details section ensure that you have clicked on the box opposite ‘I have read and accept the Terms & Conditions’ to confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions.

The system will accept pre-bookings up to 1 hour prior to the expected time of arrival at the selected car park.

VISA or MasterCard.

Step 1: On the homepage menu select Airport Parking and then Book Airport Parking.
Step 2: Select your parking dates along with you Entry & Exit times. If you have a promo code you can enter this in the promocode box. Select Search.
Step 3: The price for your desired parking dates will be shown on screen. To proceed, click the Select button.
Step 4: Enter your personal information including the registration of the car you will be arriving in. Ensure you read the Terms & Conditions of using the car park and once satisfied, select Submit Card Payment.
Step 5: Enter your credit/debit card details and follow payment instructions.
Step 6: If your payment is confirmed, you will see a confirmation screen. Confirmation of the booking will also be sent to the email address provided in your personal information. If the payment does not go through, the website will return to the Personal Details page and you can attempt the payment again. No confirmation email will be sent.

In this case the booking has not been completed successfully and the process should be carefully repeated. If you completed the online process successfully but did not receive an email confirmation please ensure that your virus checker is not blocking certain emails or classifying the email as spam.
Please make sure to write down your booking reference number. Using this number you can check your booking online anytime before you travel and can amend or cancel the booking at anytime up to 4 hours before your planned arrival time at the car park.

To ensure that you are trading in a secure environment, Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport has contracted the services of Advam. Advam is the leading provider of integrated global card services for private enterprise and government agencies in Australia and around the globe. Advam is a Tier 1 payment processor which adheres to the most stringent of industry accreditations including Level 1 PCI DSS compliance, EMV certification and ISO 9001 accreditation. When you enter your payment details online, you will notice that you are using a secure site which uses 1024 bit tunnelling encryption to protect your information during transmission. Every transaction processed through Advam’s payment switch is protected by the latest in encryption technology and a combination of state-of-the-art firewalls and intrusion detection systems guard every point of ingress and egress on the Advam network.

Managing your online car park booking

If you are arriving in a different vehicle to the one you originally pre-booked simply take a ticket and enter the carpark. Your booking is still valid so just bring the ticket to reception where we can locate your booking and validate this for you.

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport car park accommodates standard family cars, SUVs etc are subject to height restrictions in underground car parks is 2 meters. Underground does not accommodate large commercial vehicles or vehicles with trailers attached.

Please email carparking.dublinairport@claytonhotels.com well in advance of your planned travel date. Email enquiries are responded to during normal working hours – Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 hours.

The system will recognise your pre-booking up to two hours in advance of your expected time of arrival and up to 12 hours following your expected time of arrival. For example, if you booked to arrive at 10am the system will recognise your booking and allow you to enter the car park at anytime between 8am and 10pm on the pre-booked arrival day.

Your vehicle registration will only be recognised ONCE at the entry barriers and ONCE at the exit barriers. If you need to enter and exit multiple times during your stay, please visit reception and they can issue you with a parking pass for the duration of your booking.

The shuttle bus service operates every 25-30 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Our car park is covered by 24-hour CCTV as well as regularly patrolled by our Car Park Attendants on site. All persons entering the car park do so at their own risk and neither the Company nor any person acting on its behalf accepts liability for any damage loss or theft of or from any vehicle or any damage caused to a vehicle, unless caused by the negligence, wilful act or default or breach of statutory duty by us or our employee’s servants or agents.
