Directions to Wimbledon

The home of tennis, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club hosts the oldest and greatest tennis tournament every year in July known as Wimbledon or The Championship.

Wimbledon is the only one of the four grand slams to be still played on grass and brings with it a few distinct traditions such as the white clothing players must wear and strawberries with cream and Pimm’s being served all day long.

Although Wimbledon is mainly known for tennis there are so many more activities to do and places to see if you find yourself around the area. For example, after the game you can visit the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Wimbledon Windmill Museum and the unusual Wat Buddhapadipa Temple.
