Unfortunately our swimming pool is currently closed due to current government restrictions, but we hope to re-open our facilities as soon it is safe to do so with important steps taken to ensure physical distancing and the health and safety of our guests while using our facilities.

Club Vitae is proud to house the largest hotel swimming pool in Dublin 2, located at Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane in Grand Canal Dock.
Heated to a comfortable temperature, guests and members can enjoy both lane and leisure swimming 365 days per year.

Children’s Pool

We also have a separate children’s pool for the little ones where they can have fun and be safe.

Children’s Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons provide important skills that will benefit your children later in life. All of our swimming instructors are nationally certified, Garda vetted and trained in CPR, AED and first aid.

Little Nemos – Level 1

Beginner

Age: 3-6 – First time taking lessons or fearful of water.

Small Fins – Level 2

Intermediate

Age: 5-8 – Learning to become for more confident in water

Dolphins – Level 3

Advanced

Stroke readiness

Children’s 6-Week Swimming Course

Classes are small to ensure full attention and last for 30 minutes.

This course costs €84 for 6 weeks.

Private adult and child swimming lessons are also available at €20.

Swimming Pool Restrictions & Requirements

Please note, all guests using the swimming pool must wear a swimming hat. Swimming hats can be purchased at Club Vitae reception for €3 each.

Monday to Friday children are permitted to use the pool until 5:30pm, after which it is adult swim time only.

However, during, weekends, bank holidays, Summer months, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas midterm breaks there are no restrictions.
