Our diverse first floor meeting spaces offer a sophisticated and inviting space for your next meeting. Rooms featuring high-spec technology in various sizes to accommodate meetings from small to large. Each of our unique meeting spaces blends together the heritage of Custom House with modern facilities.

Our signature ballroom space in the heart of Custom House is the ideal space to host large conferences and AGMs or corporate dinners and networking events. It is a wholly flexible space with history and heritage woven with Clayton Meetings & Events facilities.

Our Ballroom can also be divided to accommodate for break-out sessions and/or smaller meetings.

A strikingly unique space with panoramic River Clyde Views towards Glasgow’s Southside and the West End. Our 7th Floor Terrace lends itself very well to networking drinks and events in a memorable setting.

At Clayton Hotel Glasgow we’re dedicated to caring for our environment. We’ve implemented green initiatives across all our hotel offerings and our meeting facilities are no exception. Accredited by Green Tourism with a gold certificate, our Green Team members are always working towards a cleaner environment through our Living Green movement.


We minimise our energy impact with clever use of natural lighting as well as LED lights and motion sensors that ensure no energy is wasted where it isn’t needed. Our advanced water filtration systems provide fresh water with no need for transport.


All cups, bottles, plates and utensils are reusable with no disposable plastics, guests are provided with pencils rather than pens as well as recycled paper pads. All Tea & Coffee granules are recycled to be used as fertiliser with any food waste separated for recycling.


Delegate menus have been produced to ensure local produce is used, supporting our local community and cutting transport emissions. We also offer a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options to support those doing their part to help the environment.

Our 5 state-of-the-art meeting rooms are ideal for events of any size whether you’re hosting 2 or 200 delegates. Our spaces are elegantly sophisticated in keeping with the heritage of our Custom House building, and equipped with high-spec technology to suit your needs.

Flooded with natural daylight, our ground floor meeting rooms are ideal for meetings of up to 80 delegates. For larger events, our beautiful Custom House Ballroom holds up to 200 delegates. Fully customizable to your needs, our ballroom can be divided into two spaces ideal for breakout sessions and separate meetings.

For a truly unique experience, our 7th floor terrace offers panoramic views of The River Clyde, Glasgow’s Southside and West end. Ideal for networking drinks and summer events.

Our Meeting & Events spaces boast the most advanced technological facilities for a seamless meeting. Long range wireless keyboards and trackpads, let you use the space to your liking without being anchored to your laptop. Create and collaborate with 86” PRO ULTRA CleverTouch Interactive Display Screens, featuring digital whiteboards accessible to remote guests. Personalise your event with digital signage for brand display.
