Does the hotel host more than one wedding a day?

No, we only cater for one wedding a day so you can guarantee you’d have our undivided attention.

How can I arrange a viewing of your hotel?

All couples are welcome anytime to come in and meet with us but we would recommend contacting our wedding executive Meghan on weddings.silversprings@claytonhotels.com to arrange a viewing on a suitable time for you, this is to ensure our ballroom, bridal suite and civil ceremony are available to view.

How many guests do your wedding packages cater for?

Our wedding packages range from 125 – 450 guests in our elegant ballroom. We also cater for Intimate weddings ranging from 50-80 guests in our private River Suite.

Is the wedding reception and wedding ceremony wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

Do you cater for wedding ceremonies in the hotel?

Yes, we cater for all wedding ceremonies in the hotel.

Is hotel parking free?

Yes, parking is free for all your guests.

Can you give recommendations for wedding suppliers?

Yes, we have a long exclusive list of wedding suppliers who are frequently in the hotel.

Are children welcome?

Yes of course, we are a family friendly hotel.

Is menu tasting included?

Yes menu and wine tasting is included with our compliments to the couple. This usually takes place about 8 weeks from your special day.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

Yes, we cater for all special dietary requirements.

Do you offer a reduced bedroom rate for wedding guests?

Yes, we offer your guests a reduced bedroom rate for the night of the wedding.

How many guests per table?

Our large round tables accommodate up to 12 guests.

Do you provide a display table plan?

Yes, we will design and print your table plan and display it for your guests outside the ballroom.

After the meal do tables need to be moved to make room for the dancefloor?

No, tables to not need to be moved to make room for the dancefloor. We will not inconvenience you and your guests by moving tables so you can relax and enjoy the music straight after the meal.

What time is check in and check out?

Rooms are available for check-in from 3.00pm. If you arrive early you are welcome to register and we can safely store your luggage. Our check-out time is 11.00am.

How long does the bar open until? Is the bar extension included?

Yes, the bar extension is included with all wedding packages. This means the bar for weddings on Monday – Thursday will be open until 1:30am and Friday – Saturday until 2:30am.

Is there a residents bar for after?

Yes, a residents bar will then be open for all hotel guests in the main hotel.

Can guests just come to the afters?

Yes of course, all guests are welcome to join the afters after the meal is served.

Does the hotel have a PA system for wedding speeches?

Yes, we have a PA system that you can use. We also have audio visual equipment for any slideshows that you wish to have.

Can I provisionally hold a date with you?

Yes, we would be delighted to provisionally hold a date for you if it’s available. We can hold dates for up to 4 weeks and at this time a deposit will be required to confirm the date if not then the date will be automatically released.

How much is the wedding deposit?

We require a €1,000 booking deposit to confirm your wedding date. On receipt of the €1,000 deposit, we will issue you with a wedding contract that will need to be signed and returned to confirm your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Do you cater for pre/post wedding day celebrations

Yes, we offer a wide variety of options for both pre and post-wedding celebrations, whether it’s finger food or a BBQ for your guests we will have something to suit your needs.

Do all the staff have health and safety training?

Yes, all our staff are highly trained in all aspects of health and safety, we have an onsite Health & Safety Officer.
