Hazelbank Park

Located on the shoreline of Belfast Lough, Hazelbank Park is only 5.7 miles from Belfast. The park offers fantastic views to Belfast, Carrickfergus, and County Down. In the summer you can visit the shore for a paddle or have a picnic on the grass so there is something for everyone at this park.

Helen’s Bay

Helen’s bay is a village on the northern coast of County Down and located 9.2 miles from Belfast. It can be easily reached by car and there is also a train station. The beach is suitable for all ages. Why not walk from Helen’s Bay to Crawfordsburn?

Crawfordsburn Beach

Located along the coast from Helen’s BayCrawfordsburn beach also includes a nature park where you can explore waterfalls and forest walkways.  Just 9.6 miles from Belfast, this beach can be easily reached by car and again there is a train station close by.

Murlough Beach

Murlough is part of the National Trust and located 24.1 miles from Belfast. The car park charge is £5.00. A network of paths through the dunes, woodland, and health can be found as well as self-guided nature trails.  Just follow the yellow and green-topped posts. Along the main boardwalk, you will find information panels with details on the wildlife and history of Murlough.
