Clayton Hotels take great pride in offering excellent dining options and even under the current challenging conditions we are committed to providing quality food and superb service in a safe environment for our guests.

Our Bar & Restaurant services across our UK hotels are now fully open.

In Ireland, our hotels are open to accommodate indoor dining and will follow all government guidelines.

Masks in the Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland continue to be mandatory in public areas until seated for dining.

Our dining services are key elements of our “Clayton Keep Safe Program” which ensures the health and safety of our guests and colleagues. We are lucky to have spacious restaurants and public areas in which we can manage social distancing well and we have additional protocols that will be explained by our restaurant team.

We are delighted that our hotel restaurants are now open offering breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lighter dining and snacks are available throughout the day from our Red Bean Roastery.

Restaurants and lounges are set up to reflect physical distancing with suitable spacing between tables. All food and drink orders will be taken at your table and, although your server may look a little different, you can be sure they offer the same warm welcome and excellent service with a smile.

Food will generally arrive at your table covered by a cloth. During peak dining periods you may be requested to reserve a table through our Guest Services Platform, accessed automatically when you connect to hotel WiFi.

    Lunch & Dinner

    Meals will be served to your table and our usual buffet food displays and services have had to be suspended for the time being. We have also had to limit our range of dishes and menu choices in order to ensure our high standards are maintained, but we will be sure to include our local and seasonal favourites.

    Although hotel bars are currently restricted, a full range of drinks including wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks & non-alcoholic drinks, are available to our restaurant diners.

    In-Room Dining

    Many of our guests may choose to dine in their room at this time and as such we have adapted our service to respond to this.

    We have enhanced our room service menus and our unique Guest Service Platform, accessed by logging onto the hotel WiFi, allows you to view our in-room dining menu and order online. This can be instantly paid for using credit or debit card or, should you choose to charge to your room, you can still do so using our standard in-room call service. You will be given a time for collection of your order at which time your food can simply be picked up from our restaurant.


    Hotel Bars

    In line with government guidelines, our bars will operate a full table service with all food being served to your table as well as a full range of drinks available for diners including wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks & non-alcoholic drinks as well as coffee & tea.

    Our signature coffee blend, Red Bean Roastery is exclusive to Clayton Hotels and Maldron Hotels.

    Lighter meals and snacks are available throughout the day from Red Bean Roastery. Our lounge areas will be setup in such a way as to maintain social distancing. Although our counters may look different to avoid having open food on display, we continue to offer a wide range of delicious snacks & treats to enjoy with your coffee.
