Bristol Christmas Market

Based in the heart of the city centre, Bristol’s traditional Christmas market is back for 2023 ready to add some sparkle to those dark evenings.

Located in the very heart of Bristol Shopping Quarter, the Christmas market is home to over 35 unique stalls as well as entertainment and visits from Santa and his elves. Visitors can enjoy delicious drinks and live music in the warm Jäger Barn Bar or you can book one of the private Igloos or Gondolas to escape the bustle of the Market for a while.
Running from 3th November to 23rd December stalls will be open every day from 10am – 7pm with the food and bar area open every day 10am – 10pm.

Bristol’s Shopping Quarter

Based in the heart of the city centre, Bristol’s Shopping Quarter is home to hundreds of shops including high street names, designer stores, also it is offering a diversity of restaurants, bars, cafes and independent stores. So, it’s perfect for Christmas Shopping.

The Galleries

Take a trip to indoor shopping centre The Galleries for all your essential shopping with a wide variety of shops. You will find around 80 stores across three floors as well as a food hall for a little refuel on a long shopping day. Looking for something a bit different? Visit The Arcade a Grade II listed Victorian shopping arcade with independent stores throughout. There is as well an inside car park with special shoppers’ tariffs.

Cabot Circus

Just a short walk from our Bristol Hotel, Cabot Circus is a covered shopping centre is located in Bristol’s shopping quarter with a unique indoor and outdoor shopping experience. Here you’ll find all your high street favourites or if you’re looking for high-end, designer shops make sure you head across to the nearby Quakers Friars.

If you’re looking to make a day of it, then there are plenty of restaurants and bars to relax after ticking off your shopping list or take a break from the shops altogether and enjoy some crazy golf or a trip to the cinema.

St Nicholas Market

In the heart of the old city, trading since the 1700’s St Nick’s Market had the largest selection of independent retailers inside ‘The Exchange’, a large historic building, and ‘The Glass Arcade’, so the market is divided into three sections. Each week other markets join to add an additional offering, these include the Saturday Flea Market, street food and local farmer and producer’s market. St Nicholas Markets has been named as one of the 12 best markets in the UK.

Christmas Steps Arts Quarter

Nestled in the Old City, the charming Christmas Steps Art Quarter is the perfect location for searching for a unique gift, souvenir or artwork there is an array of interesting and eclectic shop as this are is full of independent art galleries, pottery studios and creative talent. It’s hard not to fall in love with the architecture in this fun, quirky and historic area.

Cribbs Causeway

Located just off the M4/M5 interchange, if you fancy heading out of the city Cribbs Causeway has all your favourite brands all under one roof. There is late night opening, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore, there are also free parking spaces and a dedicated bus station which provides services from the city and surrounding areas. Also, within Cribbs Causeway is The Venue, a leisure complex which includes cinema, bowl centre, also a range of restaurants.
