• Clayton Hotels have partnered with Green Tourism, a hospitality specialist environment accreditation partner. Green Tourism have completed “Energy & Sustainability Audits” in all our hotels, with each hotel gaining accreditation as part of this process. These audits are helping us prioritise the areas we need to action. Over 80% of our hotels have achieved the Gold Award in their recent re-accreditation
• In tandem with this work, all our hotels have formed “Environment Impact Teams” made up of team members across hotel departments to lead the implementation of a greener agenda at hotel level.
• Dalata Hotel Group discloses its Environmental impact through CDP, a global non-profit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform. In 2021 Dalata Hotel Group achieved a score of B. The Global Average for the category that we sit in is B -.CDP drives companies and governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests. Over 13,000 companies with over 64% of global market capitalization disclosed environmental data through CDP in 2021. This is in addition to the over 1,100 cities, states and regions who disclosed, making CDP’s platform one of the richest sources of information globally on how companies and governments are driving environmental change.
