Cambridge Market Square
Cambridge’s vibrant and historic open air market is based in the centre of the City. The market has a broad range of produce from their fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, to sweets, clothing, books, a tailoring service, flowers, crafts, refreshments and bike repairs! You will also find Vinyl, CDs and DVDs, jewellery, bags, garden plants, mobile phones and accessories…the list is endless. The Market is open Monday to Saturday from 10am – 4pm. On Sunday’s there is a craft market that sells organic produce from local Cambridge farmers and works from some of the region’s most accomplished artists, craftsmen, potters, sculptors and photographers.
All Saints Craft Fair
Outside Trinity College
Everything you see at this market is 100% hand made by the people that sell them. This market has been running for more than 35 years now. All Saints Garden Craft Market sells pretty much everything from pottery and sculpture, to jewellery, to photography and paintings, prints and clothing. One of the things we love most about this market is the people. They love to talk to you about how they crafted their goods themselves. You may even get lucky and see them working on some pieces. This Market is held on Saturdays all year round, plus Fridays in June, July and August. It also opens Wednesday to Saturday in December (leading up to Christmas), weather permitting.
Ely Market
30-minute drive from Cambridge
A visit to Ely Markets is a must. Ely Market Place hosts an array of markets throughout the calendar year. The general Market is held on Thursdays and also on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of every month as well as on Sundays and Bank Holidays. There is a Craft and Collectibles Market that is on every Saturday throughout the year with a wide range of arts, crafts and vintage items. Included in the market is also a Street Food Aisle that had an appetizing selection of food to go.
