Fota Wildlife Park
Fota Wildlife Park is one of Ireland’s most visited attractions and a perfect day out for guests of all ages.
Located on in east Cork and on Fota Island which is en route to Cobh, it is just a 20-minute drive from Clayton Hotel Cork City.
The park has a relaxed feeling with many animals roaming freely and visitors can come face to face with kangaroos & giraffes.
Through long-established breeding programmes, which are run cooperatively with other institutions around the world, the Park is helping restore populations of some endangered species such as the Rothschild giraffe, European Bison, Lion Tailed Macaque, and Scimitar Horned Oryx.
