3. Arrival & Location 

Car 

If you are arriving by car, our Full Address is Clayton Hotel Galway, Monivea Rd, Ballybrit, Galway, H91 D526 

Bus 

The 401 bus stop is located just outside to hotel and will bring you directly into Galway City Centre. 

Train 

Clayton Hotel Galway is about a ten-minute drive from Galway Train Station (Ceannt). We’d recommend either taking a taxi or the 401 bus which stops just outside the hotel. 

Airport 

We’re located under an hour's drive from Shannon Airport. Follow the M18 to Galway until you reach junction 18. Here, take the M6/N6 towards Galway. Proceed along this road until you reach the Coolagh roundabout. Take the 2nd exit from this roundabout and proceed to the traffic light junction. Take a left here and the hotel entrance will be on the right. If you’re using public transport, the 51 bus will take you to Galway city centre from Shannon Airport.

There is a step free entry doorway at both the front and back entrances of the hotel. There is a step-free access from the entrance to the following areas:

Accessible Parking: There are 11 designated accessible parking spaces available at Clayton Hotel Galway. 

Step-free route with firm surface from car park to entrance: There is a step free route with a firm surface from the parking to the main entrance of the hotel.

• 4 Floors of bedrooms

• Basement Carpark

Wheelchair Accessible Bedrooms & Bathrooms: 

• We have wheelchair accessible bedrooms/bathrooms with lift access if these rooms are required please make contact at booking stage.

8. Accessible Bathrooms / En‑Suites

Bedroom with en-suite bathroom: 

• All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. 

Shower Unit: 

• Our accessible bedrooms have a walk-in/wheelchair accessible shower, while all other rooms have a shower over a bath. 

Fridge: 

• Our bedrooms do not come equipped with fridges, however upon request frigdes can be fitted subject to availibility.

Both our restaurant and bar offer step-free access, along with generously spaced aisles, and accessible seating areas with tables at appropriate heights. 

Table Service 

Table service is standard for food service in our Bar. Drinks service at your table is also available upon request.
